I'm adding a new section because I got inspired by the image of a man waiting with a bunch of roses. This has somehow led to the trashing of 4 dozen red roses in 3 minutes. It's an expensive and messy idea, so Cody has gotten good at miming in rehearsal, but when he does let loose, it is glorious! Visually and viscerally glorious!
So we'll be trashing these roses while waiting for her to come home. The thwarted romance, the fragility of hope, the anger embedded in impatience. . . and the Mama's and the Papa's "Dream a Little Dream of Me".
