About: Dancing Through Parkinson's classes encourage joy, community, stability, balance, increased flexibility and keeping the mind alert. Launched in 2010, this program provides dance classes taught by professional dancers, which are designed for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Friends, family and caretakers are encouraged to join in. During standing portions of the class, there is always an equally engaging seated option. Participants are able to move at their own pace and no dance experience is required. (Additional locations in Venice, Culver City, Torrance, the Valley/Tarzana and Lincoln Heights/Downtown LA - click here for more info)
