**UPDATE as of 3/30/2020 While our Dancing Through Parkinson's and Dancing Through Life classes remain closed through Sunday, May 31, our team is working to create new online programs that will allow us to stay engaged with our Parkinson's participants and other important members of our community. In support of local efforts to help keep our communities safe in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, we have made the decision to postpone our programming in the coming weeks:
* All Dancing Through Parkinson's and Dancing Through Life classes will be closed beginning today through Friday, April 3. We understand our classes are very important to our partners and participants, especially our Parkinson's community. We'll be working over the next few weeks to stay connected to our participants in innovative ways, and we'll share new developments as they unfold. If you have any questions or need more information, please email our Community Engagement Manager, K., at: [email protected], or leave a message on our office line at: 424-229-2141, and we'll respond as quickly as possible. We'll share another announcement at the end of March to update our community on when our classes will resume.
* Invertigo will not be participating in the Los Angeles International Dance Festival's Dance for All event at the Broad Stage on April 13. We were honored to be invited to join the festival, and we look forward to continue working with our partners in the future.
During these fluid times, we believe we must all take steps to slow down the rate of transmission, reduce the stress on our health care system, and protect the most vulnerable in our community.
We have been heartened by our arts and culture community being proactive in postponing and canceling events. We thank you for your support for Invertigo, and look forward to continue engaging with you in the spirit of generosity as move forward together.
